We offer key restoration as part of our rebuilding at no additional charge. We have come to learn that this service is also desirable for those that perhaps their piano was rebuilt at another shop and this service was not offered or they simply want the piano to look good and are not concerned with the playabity of it. We can drastically improve the look of genuine ivory that has yellowed over the years and make it feel nice and smooth to the touch. We can also replace genuine ivory key tops that are simply in too bad of shape to restore with either bright white plastic key tops similar to what comes on all new pianos or a nice faux ivory plastic that looks very nice and has the simulated grain of real ivory and is a slight off white color. We can determine the cost and which process would best suit your individual piano with a few good pictures emailed to us. We come and get the keys and return to install them back in the piano.
